Asalaamu Alaikum, I don't know if my story will inspire, but if it at least comforts and assuages the fears and insecurities, that I know I too once had, Khair Insha'Allaah.

What Polygyny Has Given Me!!!
December 01, 2006
As a young daughter of polygyny, I wish to share with others what polygyny has brought to my life. Insha'Allaah I can help erase some of the fears many sisters today have associated with polygyny and I hope to bring to light the many benefits that exist when polygyny is practiced the way Allah(T) instructed us to through the example of our beloved Prophet(S). I am not involved in a polygynous marriage (or even married as a matter of fact); however, I have witnessed it first hand as a child and young adult al hamdulillah.

I have found that Muslims have fallen prey to the Western ideal of one woman for one man, which is laughable when you look to the reality of their relationships. The majority of men admit to committing adultery and a growing number of women do the same.. The system in the West has been described by some as serial monogamy because of the insane divorce rate, but is in reality little more than a charade for an open unchecked worship of human desire.
Polygany (Ta'ad-dud)
November 30, 2006
As one glances across the history of Islam, one can not help but notice the deep impressions made by faithful believing women who comforted, trusted, and endured poverty and hardship, nursed and even fought in battles beside their men - women who willingly hid their charms because of Allah’s (SWT) command and strove to show Islam to all nations - women who were not overly influenced by the lure of the material world and who excelled within the Islamic bounds set for women.
